undergroundzero will be hosting a midsummer gala to raise funds to produce next year’s festival. Come out and you might get a chance to hang out with Woton, who’ll be making an appearance (!)

Closing Night Halloween Party!

This Saturday, October 30, is closing night for The Ring Cycle (Part 1+2) at The Bushwick Starr.

This Saturday, October 30, is also the Saturday before Halloween.

What does that mean?

(Come on… have you met us?)

PARTY.

Come to the Starr this Saturday night and join us after the show for a Halloween dance party. DJ madness, cheap drinks, and good times are all at the ready…be there!

Come in costume. You know we will.

To support PL115 and our production of Susan Glaspell’s The Verge we’re hosting a fabulous 1920′s Cocktail Party following the performance on November 10th.

THE VERGE at the Ontological Incubator

PL115 is pleased to announce our inclusion in the Fall 2009 Ontological Incubator!

Teaming up with director Alice Reagan (Caucasian Chalk Circle, A Small Hole), PL115 will mount deconstruction of Susan Glaspell’s proto-Feminist play, The Verge.

The Verge will perform November 5-21, Tue, Thu-Sat @ 8PM.

And join us on September 12th at 9PM for the Ontological Incubator Benefit. This year’s theme is ‘Back To School Party’ — which means if you bring a childhood picture of yourself, it’s only $5.

CHALK CIRCLE RENT PARTY!!!

In the 1920′s, when rents in Harlem started going up, people got the idea of having a few friends over as paying party guests a few days before the landlord’s monthly visit. The guests had a great time, and it cost them much less that they would have spent in some public amusement place. Thus the rent party was born.

With the economy the way it is, and the theatre the way it is, PL115 has come up a little short on rent at the end of our season. What could be better than a rent party?

We cordially invite you to Rachel’s questionable apartment for some dancing and bathtub gin. (Don’t worry. We’ll tell her to clean the bathtub.)

Thanks to all who had a chance to come out to PL115′s Spring Gala last night at Galapagos. We had a great time, and we hope you all did too!
